Taiwan Provincial College of Agriculture
Established in 1947, and originally named the Department of Agricultural Economics.
In 1957, the Department established it first Master Program in Graduate Institute of Agricultural Economics.
Taiwan Provincial Chung Hsing University
1976, Establishment of the first PhD Program in Graduate Institute of Agricultural Economics
1991 - Reorganized as the Department of Agricultural Economics
2001 - Establishment of the first executive Master of Agricultural Economics
2002 - Renamed as Department of Applied Economics
2013 - Educational goals adjustment: "Nurturing talents with economic expertise in industrial, agriculture, resources and the environment areas, as well as an innovative integration from international perspectives"
2014 - Establishment of the College of Agricultural to ensure cross-Department expertize in the fields of Agricultural Economics and Marketing.
